2011 CollegeHoops.net All-Americans: Fredette is POY

Player of the Year Jimmer Fredette, the nation's leading scorer, highlights CollegeHoops.net's 2011 All-America teams. Fredette averaged 28.9 ppg while leading BYU to a 32-5 record and a spot in the Sweet Sixteen. Fredette is joined on the First Team by seniors Nolan Smith of Duke and JaJuan Johnson of Purdue, junior Kemba Walker of UCONN, and Ohio State freshman Jared Sullinger.

Sullinger is one of four freshmen on the list, along with Kentucky's Terrence Jones (4th Team) and Brandon Knight (Honorable Mention), and Texas forward Tristan Thompson. Only 9 of the 41 players from last year's CollegeHoops.net All-America team returned to college this season, and 6 players repeated honors.
