Eaton Signs with OSU after Momís visit
Eddie Sutton recieved another strong verbal commitment from the state
of Texas when highly recruited Lincoln HS standout 6-0 Byron Eaton
expressed his desire to play for the Cowboys next season. Considered
by most national polls as one of the top 25 HS players in the nation
Eaton adds depth to an already potent Cowboy offense that looks to
improve on their final four appearance last season.
In an interview with Greg Swaim at
www.gregswaim.com one of the most respected recruiting sites in
the country Eaton visited the campus during an earlier recruiting trip
but made a promise to his mother that he would not sign until she was
allowed (under NCAA rules) to make her visit this weekend. Eaton
also considered the Cincinnatti Bearcats among his top two choices for
next season hoping to also land a spot in the backfield for Bearcat
head coach Mark Dantonio.
Eaton joins fellow Texas recruits 6-6 Roderick Flemings (DeSoto HS)
6-8 Gerald Green (Gulf Shores Academy) and 6-4 Terrel Harris (Garland
HS) and plans to sign a letter of intent in November.
