Dan is a former student at
IPFW (Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne) where he studied
Media and Public Communications with a minor in journalism. During his
time at IPFW, Dan served as Editor-in-Chief, News Editor and a Sports
Writer for the campus newspaper The Communicator.
Journalism became a focal
point in Dan's life when he was a freshman in high school, where Dan
wrote for the newspaper and eventually acted as Sports Editor for the
yearbook. Aside from his work with school publications, Dan has been a
contributer at The News Sentinel adn The Journal Gazette (Fort Wayne's
two newspapers), Fort Wayne Magazine, pwtorch.com, IHSAA.org and
gonorthside.com.
In his leisure time, Dan
coaches freshman basketball at North Side High School in Fort Wayne and
works on a novel.
