Daily Bracketology: Tuesday's Field of 65

Another day, another Field of 65. As you should know by now, I'm projecting the NCAA Tournament field on a daily basis for the rest of the year (except no Saturday's since there's little action Friday). This is a field based on how the tourney looks "as of this moment." For one-bid leagues, I simply include the conference leader at the time of publishing. In case of ties, I use my projected winner.

 

Arrows indicate a team that moved up or down based on last night's performance. (Just because a team won or lost doesn't necessarily mean they'll move substantially.)

 

Note on Tuesday's Movement: Another win for Louisville pushes them a spot past Drake. Texas A&M takes a fall from the last 6 seed to the 1st 8 seed.. allowing Marquette to jump a pod. Team in that range are very close, and any loss or drop in RPI is significant. URI's loss to a quality Xavier team merely drops them one position, but they fall from the final 8 to the first 9. (switching places with idle USC). Syracuse doesn't drop despite the loss to L'Ville, mainly because Saint Joseph's had a bad home loss to La Salle and moves down to a 12 seed. They're now (along with Florida) just hanging on by a thread, and could easily drop out of the field if some of the  Next in Line teams win upcoming games.

 

Also, Boise State officially moves into the WAC lead, replacing USU. And down towards the bottom, Cornell keeps moving up in the RPI and moves up to a 14 for the first time.
