Bracketology January 30th: Three Lose Bid

January 30th, 2011
The weekly 2011 Bracketology field is based on how the tourney projects as of now. The field below is not necessarily who I think deserves to be in, but simply a prediction of what the committee would do as things stand. In late February, I release Bracketology updates more frequently as the season approaches crunch time.

Why should you care what I have to say? In 2007 & 2008 & 2010, my NCAA Tournament projections ranked in the Top 3 amongst 50+ national experts including Joe Lunardi, Gary Parrish and the like. Over the last 3 years, I'm ranked 3rd overall amongst bracketologists according to the Bracket Project

Notes:

Arrows indicate how many seeds (not spots) a team has moved up or down in the past week. Teams in Green are new to the field this week.
