Tyler Brown, a 6’7” 225lb 4 man from
Eau Claire, WI
has given his verbal commitment to Central Michigan University. Coach Ernie Zeigler and
assistants Darren Kohne and Keith Noftz lured the senior from Eau Claire North
HS and the Wisconsin Blizzard AAU away from the competition. The tag team
efforts enabled them to beat out 8 other scholarship offers that Brown had from
the likes of: Boston University, Wisconsin-Green Bay,
Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Air Force, North Dakota State, Yale, Lehigh, and North Dakota. Brown
along with Wisconsin commit Evan Anderson should lead
Coach Pat Hammond’s Eau Claire North HS to a fantastic season this upcoming
year!
Tyler becomes the
first committed for CMU’s class of 2009.
