Betting odds are a great guide to college basketball entertainment. Unlike fans, who often ride the wave of media predictions, betting lines tend to be a bit more focused and can give you an objective picture of how teams matchup (though lines too can get caught up in the wave of human emotion).

I'll discuss my daily predictions after the lines.. these are posted solely for fun, as I do not bet on games myself, nor do I suggest anybody else does either (it's not easy). If you agree or disagree with my picks, have thoughts on the day's lines, or have upsets or picks to announce, post them below.

PREDICTIONS

-- Split a pair of games yesterday, as UK win but Radford lost by 31+ to Kansas. Kansas scored 5 straight points in the final 45 seconds to push them over the spread.. questionable why they're scoring so much in a blow out..

-- Anyways, I'm 19-11 on the season now.

-- Only 7 games with lines tonight, the non listed one being a pickem game featuring Montana at LMU.

-- I like COLORADO to win on the road at Colorado St, or at least cover the 2.5 point deficit. Colorado St is not bad by any means and is 2-0 at home so far, but struggled to put away Denver. Colorado has lost 3 times this year, close games against Gonzaga, Arizona, and Oregon State, none of which are bad losses. I think the Buffs are slightly better then their record suggests due to the tough Maui defeats.

-- That's all for now. I'm considering DePaul as 11 point dogs against Mississippi State. DePaul tends to keep the tempo low, which keeps scores close. They lost by 13 at Vandy, but Vandy is better then MSU, and tonight's game is on a neutral floor. Might pull the trigger on that, but I havent decided yet.

Florida

Think the Gators win at home. Florida's win over MSU is as impresive if not more then any of Syracuse's wins and the game is in Florida giving a slight edge to the Gators.

I'd lean towards Florida to

I'd lean towards Florida to here, but I think Syracuse is probably slightly better in general so I'm avoiding this one, could go either way I think
