The UCLA Athletic Department has finalized its men’s basketball schedule for 2008-09, which is highlighted by 29 televised games on five different networks, including the possibility of two more games to be televised.

Northridge, Calif. - The 2008-09 Cal State Northridge men's basketball team, expected to be the favorites to repeat as Big West regular season champions, will be gathering thousands of frequent flier miles during the early portion of the 2008-09 schedule which was announced on Wednesday by Matador head coach Bobby Braswell.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A December 15 road game at Syracuse, a site change for the Thanksgiving week CBE Classic and a shakeup of dates for four home games are among the changes in the final 2008-09 Viking men's basketball schedule, which was released on Monday.

The 2008-09 University of Memphis basketball schedule was released Wednesday, and fans will get to see plenty of their Tigers this season with 18 home dates at FedExForum. Times and television games will be announced at a later date.

"Everywhere I've been recently, fans have been asking about this season's schedule, and I'm excited to get it out there," said Memphis Director of Athletics R.C. Johnson. "As John likes to do, the schedule has a national feel to it, and I know our fans enjoy those high-profile games.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Three contests against Big East opponents and a trip to the 2008 NIT Season Tip-Off highlight the 2008-09 UAB men's basketball schedule, head coach Mike Davis announced on Thursday. Additionally, the Blazers will play 14 home games against the likes of USF and NCAA runner-up Memphis next season.

The Irish will appear on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU) 14 times and will have two nationally-televised games on CBS Sports. In addition, ESPN's College GameDay will pay a first-ever visit to the Joyce Center on Sat., January 24 when Notre Dame plays host to Connecticut.

VILLANOVA, Pa. - A potent slate of 18 BIG EAST Conference games, a December trip to New York City to meet Texas, and 13 national television appearances highlight the 2008-09 Villanova men's basketball schedule released today. The Wildcats, who advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years last March, are to play 12 games against teams that reached the NCAA Tournament a season ago.
