In the most recent installment in his coaches interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Jimmy Collins, who recently retired after fourteen seasons in charge at Illinois-Chicago. Coach Collins led the Flames to three NCAA Tournament appearances during his time in the Windy City.

In the most recent installment of his "Forgotten Legends" interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Kelly Golob, who is the all-time leading scorer in Northern Arizona University history. A three-time All-Big Sky performer, Golob also ranks second in school history with 295 three pointers made.

In the latest installment of his Greatest Coaches interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with current Cal-State Fullerton head coach Bob Burton, who has won 123 games and made one trip to the NCAA Tournament since taking the job in 2003. Coach Burton has been a head coach for forty years and shares the honor of being a member of the California Community Colleges Coaches Hall of Fame with the likes of Jerry Tarkanian and Lute Olson. The task for Burton and his staff going into 2010-11 is to replace four starters from last year's team (16-15, 8-8 Big West; t-3rd). 

In the most recent installment of his "Forgotten Legends" interview series CHN's Jon Teitel spent some time with the all-time leading scorer in Nebraska Cornhuskers history, Dave Hoppen. A 6-foot-11 big man from Omaha, Hoppen left Lincoln having scored 2,167 points and his field goal percentage of 60% ranks second in school history. 

Jon Teitel: In the summer of 1983 you won a bronze medal at the US Olympic Festival. Which of the many collegiate stars who were there impressed you the most?

The 2009-10 season was a tough one for the Penn Quakers and their fans, as the 25-time Ivy League champions lost their first ten games (and 14 of their first 15) on the way to a disappointing record of 6-22 (5-9 Ivy). But a season with few highlights included Zack Rosen, Jack Eggleston and company handing eventual league champion (and Sweet 16 member) Cornell their first conference loss of the season, and with Jerome Allen beginning his first full season as head coach hope springs eternal.

In the most recent installment in his coaches interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Danny Roberts, who coached the Campbell Camels for fourteen seasons. Roberts led the Camels to two NAIA Tournament appearances and oversaw the transition from NAIA to Division I, where they are now a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. 

Jon Teitel: You played both basketball and baseball at Campbell. Which sport were you better at and which sport did you like more?

In the most recent installment of his "Forgotten Legends" interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Joe Behling, who played just one year of high school basketball before going on to become the all-time leading scorer in Belmont history. Behling, who finished his career with 2,823 points, is best remembered by fans in the Nashville area for his 58 points scored in a win over city rival Lipscomb, which was ranked number one in the nation (NAIA) at the time. Behling is now an elementary school teacher in Nashville.  

In the latest installment of his coaches interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with former Chicago State head coach Bob Hallberg, who racked up a record of 223-84 in ten years at the Windy City school. Hallberg led the Cougars to a third place finish in the 1984 NAIA Tournament, capping off one of the most successful seasons in school history. 

Jon Teitel: In high school you played for legendary coach Jim Arneberg. What was it like to play for him, and how much of an influence was he on your own decision to go into coaching?

Next up for Jon Teitel in his interview series is Boston College's all-time leading scorer, Troy Bell. Bell, who won two Big East Player of the Year awards and also led the Eagles to the 2001 Big East regular season and tournament titles, the only time the Eagles did that as a member of the league. After a pro career that included stops in the NBA, NBDL and Europe, Bell has now taken up the sweet science (boxing). And if his hand speed is as explosive as his scoring ability, look out. 

In his latest coaches interview, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with former Vermont head coach Tom Brennan, one of the more personable figures in college basketball. Brennan led the Catamounts to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2003-05), including the first Tournament win in school history when Vermont knocked off Syracuse in 2005. 

Jon Teitel: You graduated as the all-time leading scorer at Phillipsburg Catholic High School. How far did you think you could make it as a player?
