Aleks Maric is Big 12 Player of the Week
IRVING, Texas - A pair of Nebraska athletes - senior Aleks Maric and junior Ade Dagunduro - have been chosen as the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for Dec. 10-16, in voting by a panel of media covering the conference. It is the third career weekly honor for Maric and marks the first time in Big 12 history that NU has earned both accolades in the same week.

Abrams (Texas) and freshman LaceDarius Dunn (Baylor) have been chosen as the latest Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for the 2007-08 season, in voting by a panel of media covering the conference. Abrams wins player honors for the second time in his career, while Dunn’s rookie award marks the second consecutive week a Baylor player has won a Big 12 weekly award.
