Marquette Signs PG Reggie Smith

Milwaukee – The Marquette University men’s basketball program has signed prep point guard Reggie Smith (Harvey, IL/Thornton Township HS) to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Buzz Williams announced Thursday afternoon.

Smith, a 6-0, 175-pounder, will arrive on campus this summer and have four years of eligibility with the Golden Eagles.

Marquette FR Junior Cadougan Injured: Likely to Miss Season

Milwaukee – Freshman Junior Cadougan of the Marquette University men’s basketball team suffered an injury to his achilles tendon Thursday afternoon during conditioning and will more than likely miss the entire 2009-10 campaign, head coach Buzz Williams announced Friday morning.

Cadougan will undergo surgery on his right foot in the coming days and will immediately begin the 4-to-6 month rehabilitation process.
