National Media Final Four Picks: UNC & UCLA Dominate
We've made our predictions, but what do other national experts and media publications have to say? Here's a sampling of what some of the big names say about the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Note that just about everyone picked UNC and UCLA to make the finals.. either we're all stupid or there's really two clear-cut favorites this year. Time will tell.

It doesn’t take a whole lot of research to make an educated prediction on who
the Most Outstanding Player of this year’s NCAA tournament will be. As history
shows, it normally goes to the superstar of the winning team – the Lew Alcinders,
Bill Waltons and Christian Laettners of the college hoops world. You don’t
often see a role player grab the top honor of the tourney – the last time that
you could argue that this happened was when North Carolina’s Donald Williams was
the MOP of the 1993 tournament.

Saturday Night Fever: Conference Tournament Update
Some thoughts on an exciting Championship Week Saturday.. with an eye on the Big Dance:
- Tulsa learned in a big way this morning that Memphis owns the CUSA. Having won 10 of 13 games, and with 20 overall, the Golden Hurricanes are hoping they've done enough to impress the NIT selection committee. Regardless, the emergence of 7-0 big man Jerome Jordan is a great sign for the future.

The last couple weeks of the democratic primary race made me realize that OJ Mayo is Hillary Clinton and Kevin Love is Barrack Obama. I do not mean this in terms of basketball skill, style, or personality, but instead in terms of how the media has treated the two Pac-10 freshmen.
