RIEK'S SCORE DOESN'T MAKE DEADLINE

October 10th, 2008

John Riek hasn’t received his test score yet,
which means he can’t enroll at Cincinnati until December.

According to sources close to the situation, the deadline has passed for Riek
to be eligible for the first semester.

The big 7-foot-2 center from the Sudan, who spent much of last season at The
Winchendon School (Mass.),  is expected
to remain at IMG Academy down in Florida while attempting to get the necessary
test score to play second semester.

It’s not a huge deal for Bearcats coach Mick Cronin, who wasn’t expecting Riek
to play in the first semester, anyway, due to surgery on his knee back in the
summer. No Comments
