Five Rings, 3 stripes

It’s the 10th Day of the Olympics and over the weekend we witnessed two unexpected silver medals captured by USA in fencing. The first coming to the American women’s foil team and second the men’s saber team, anchored by Erinn (women’s foil) and Keeth Smart (men’s saber). The brother and sister duo are both member’s of the elite fencing family the Peter Westbrook Foundation here in New York City). Both teams were not expected to medal let alone beat the previous world champs such as both teams did. Leading USA to our first women’s foil and men’s saber team medals at the games ever.
In less surprising news dolphin boy continued to dominate and break record after record, he is just incredible. Respect that man’s gangster, please don’t hate! Last but not least Usain Bolt of Jamaica smashed the 100m race and could’ve actually finished faster if he didn’t boast like the proud west indian man he is, but I’m not mad, big ups to Jamaica.
All in all it was a great weekend of Olympic sporting and that why this next shoe is one of my personal favorites. Enjoy!
