Traditional rivals will battle on ABC television Saturday when Indiana (5-4) travels to Lexington to take on Kentucky (6-3) at Rupp Arena. The heavily favored Wildcats will look for redemption following last years 70-51 loss to Indiana in Bloomington. This year's Hoosiers are clearly a bottom Big Ten team, and all six players that scored against Kentucky in last years game are gone. The young Indiana team will likely struggle against Kentucky's aggressive man-to-man defense and the Wildcats should claw this Hoosiers team apart and win by similar margin themselves on Saturday.
Today, I’m previewing what should be a good matchup between a pair
of teams ranked in the Top 25 of the polls, as #42 Memphis (5-1)
travels to the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. to face #24 Georgetown
On one of college basketball's better early Saturdays, #9 Xavier (8-0) takes on Cincinnati (6-1) in a battle for Ohio supremacy. This was a great game last year, a defensive slugfest in which Xavier came out on top, 64-59. Expect nothing different from this annual battle for bragging rights in Ohio.
