ABCD Camp: All-Star Game & All-Camp Team

Just got back from a mostly uneventful all-star games.  The only players that stood out were Bill Walker (monster dunks) and Corey Fisher (sweet drives to the basket.)

The All-Star games at ABCD are somewhat of a mockery. For one, 30 players make the senior all-star game, and 30 make the underclassmen. This means that 60 of the Camp's 150 make the game.  This would be okay if they chose the player playing the best.  Instead, it has a lot to do with reputation and politics.

Blake Hoffarber for example, who was 13th in the camp in overall rating, 1st in 3 pt %, 1st in 3 pt shots made, and who shot a solid 56% from the floor.  Meanwhile Alex Legion, who was about 50th in overall rating, only averaged 9.6 ppg despite being 5th in camp in shot attempts, and shot 39% (which considering this is a camp where all wings score lots of wide open lay ups is not good) made the cut.

Besides Walker and Fisher, other players that stood out (ie, that kept me awake) were James Hickson, Johnny Flynn, and Corey Chandler.

OJ Mayo, as it was all week, had some moments but mostly didn't hit many shots or do anything exceptionally.

Since I put no weight into the politics-driven all-star rosters or MVP awards, I present CHN's All-ABCD Team. (Note that these are not necessarily the 20 players with the most talent/potential, but the 20 who played the best during the week.  Final player ratings/ranking will be released later.)
