6-7 PF, Chaffey College, Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Davis is a powerfully built player that was recruited by major programs out of high school in Upland, CA. At the time he was said to have UTEP at the top of his list, but he didn’t qualify academically.  Davis apparently played well at the Mullens JUCO camp, where he did a solid job defending 6’10” Robert Whaley, the number 1 JC prospect in the country and a potential lottery pick.  Davis recieved interest again from UTEP (who also signed Davis' teammare Sheldon Pace out of Chaffey), as well as Wyoming, Idaho, Ball State, and San Jose State.  He signed with Idaho late in the signing period.
