Averaged 23.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in three Temple games...began the week on Nov. 27 with a career-high 23 points to go with five rebounds and three steals against Buffalo...hit for another career-high when he scored 27 points and had five boards in a 77-54 win over Rutgers two nights later...closed the week with 20 points and four rebounds in a 74-49 win over Long Beach State on Dec. 2...shot 23-40 (.757) from the field, including 10-21 (.476) from three...was also 14-16 (.875) from the foul line...led Temple in scoring each game this past week.

Earns his second Rookie of the Week award in as many weeks...in Duquesne’s only game, Mitchell scored 29 points on Dec. 2 at Robert Morris....the point total was the fourth-highest of any freshman in school history...Mitchell was 13-18 (.722) from the field and 3-4 (.750) from three...he also had two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.
