Creighton Assistant Takes Indiana State Job

OMAHA, Neb. -- Longtime Creighton men's basketball assistant coach Kevin McKenna has been hired as the head men's basketball coach at Indiana State University. McKenna, who is in the CU Athletics Hall of Fame for his play from 1977-81, returned to his alma mater to serve as an assistant coach from 1994-2001 and then again from 2005-07.
McKenna replaces Royce Waltman, who did not have his contract renewed after this month¹s Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
