CHN experts predict four of the week's biggest games every Monday

#9 Pitt at Villanova

Monday, 7, ESPN

Michigan State at Illinois

Tuesday, 9, ESPN

Texas at Texas Tech

Wednesday, 9, ESPN2

#7 Oregon at #2 UCLA

Jeff Borzello

'Nova has improved greatly since a few weeks ago, while Pitt could be primed for the upset.

Spartans are hitting their stride, and Illinois has lost six of their last nine. Neitzel will carry MSU to victory.

Michigan State

Tech knocked off Kansas and Texas A&M at home, and will pick up another big victory here.

Texas Tech

Battle for Pac-10 lead. Oregon won the first one in Eugene, but the Bruins take the rematch at home.

Jason Brubaker

'Nova let one get away against Notre Dame, showing their weaknesses with a young point guard. Panthers are poised, have veteran leadership and are on a mission this year.

After tough loss to OSU, you can bet Izzo's Spartans will be anxious to get back on the floor. Look for Neitzel to lead the way for a huge road win over the inconsistent Illini.

Michigan State

Tech has been playing well lately, and Longhorns, despite immense talent, have not played as well on the road. Tech wins a close one despite big game from Durant.

Texas Tech

Great matchups on the perimeter in this one, with plenty of guards who can fill it up. Bruins get revenge for earlier loss, although Oregon will make it interesting

Kevin McNeill

Pitt is too deep and talented, and the Wildcats just don't have an answer for Aaron Gray..

Illinois has lost 6 of 9 and need to win this game in the worst way. Teams with their backs against the wall are always the most dangerous.

Red Raiders playing at home have feasted on the best the Big 12 has to offer, away from home – well, not so much.  Unfortunately for the Longhorns, they are playing in Lubbock.
Texas Tech

Pauley Pavilion will be absolutely raucous, as UCLA looks for some revenge.  They will get it. UCLA

Shawn Siegel

I've been horrible picking games recently.. so you might as well mark down Villanova after this pick.

Illini have been struggling, but they did beat a comparatively talented IU team last week.

The Raiders are America's Jekyll & Hyde team.. losses to Baylor and Missouri wrapped around wins over KU and A&M.

Bruins coming off surprising loss to Stanford will get back on track against upstart Ducks.

Predicting Record

Brubaker (11-5), Silver (7-1), Borzello (7-9), Siegel (5-11), McNeill (4-4), Tomassini (4-4)
