Games of the Night
A companion to our daily Three Stars of the Day, we present the top three Games of the Night.

On a rather week night of games, this Big 12 battle gets top honors. Two weeks ago I would have said that the Longhorns would roll over OSU, but they've looked rather pedestrian in two previous conference games. They lost to Missouri on the road and barely put away lowly Colorado at home. Overall, Texas is 3-3 in their last six games. Oklahoma State has lost two straight, but still hasn't lost a true road game on the year. The Longhorns though have the better point guard and big men, a combination that should lead to a win.
Niagara (11-5) at Marist (11-7)
These teams come in tied for second in the MAAC at 5-2 apiece. Both teams are coming off road losses, though Niagara's loss to conference cellar-dweller Canisius hurts a bit more. Besides that loss to Canisius, the Purple Eagles haven't been too bad on the road this season, so you have to give them a chance. Still, Marist is unbeaten at home so they deserve the edge.
Syracuse (13-6) at #6 Georgetown (14-2)

On most other nights, this game wouldn't sniff the top three. But for whatever reason, most of tonight's two dozen games are completely lopsided affairs. So even though the Cuse have shown little reason they can hang with a Top 10 team on the road, there's nothing better out there.
