GONZAGA WINS WCC.. AGAIN

Despite two remaining road games left, Gonzaga has already locked up the WCC regular season title. This is the 9th year in a row they've won the title, and it that ridiculous stretch of dominance, the Zags have lost only 11 league games.

A win is a win, or so people like to say. But it was painful to watch Syracuse almost throw away a certain victory against Georgetown, only to eke it out in OT. Still, you love to see this type of excitement from college athletes like Eric Devendorf.

TREVOR BOOKER: TOUGH TO GUARD

Look out ACC.. Clemson isn't fading away any time soon. While most Tiger fans may hay have been more interested in signing day, true basketball enthusiasts were treated to a gift bigger than any football recruit.. a shocking 27 point romp over Duke. At the center of Clemson's success is imposing forward Trevor Booker who scored 21 points on 8 of 9 shooting. Look how Booker is surrounded by Paulus, Thomas, Henderson, and Smith.. that's respect.

DEMETRI MCCAMEY

To me, Illinois is one of the huge surprises of the 08-09 season. The Illini are 16-3 and right there in the wide open Big Ten race. They've had this success despite lacking a dominant scorer who can take over games. Four guys average between 11 and 12 points, led by the point guard McCamey at 11.8 ppg.
