Mid-Season Horizon League Awards: Part II

January 28th, 2009

As previously mentioned, part II of the Butler Ugroup Horizon League Awards recognizes the All-Newcomer Team and Top Newcomer of the Year. While these young men will most likely not receive the same national recognition as Greg Monroe, Al-Farouq Aminu and Courtney Fortson they have been making some serious waves in the Horizon League.

Wait no further, hot off the press, here are the Butler Ugroup's projections for top newcomers in the Horizon League.

The JC transfer from Maryland has been the clear leader of the Penguins this year.
