What do experts know?

Can someone with an ESPN profile comment on Bracketology? They have Butler as being 17-1 (8-0) instead of 18-1 (9-0)...as well as a six seed, which is comical.

Honestly, I have no idea why I even check what those so called experts have to say, it usually just irritates me.

I am a Butler graduate and diehard fan and to be honest I think the polls reflect how good this team is. That is to say, not top 10 in the country but certainly impressive enough to be top 15 or so. That being said, I think we can all agree trying to "seed" teams at this point in the year is kind of silly. If you are going to do it however can you try to get the facts straight? ESPN's bracketology rarely does and I believe they know little about teams outside of the big conferences.

Butler does play in the Horizon which top to bottom is a weaker league than the major conferences. That being said, there have been a couple of "major wins" out of the Horizon this year. Isn't the lack of a major win what landed Butler with a crappy seed last year?
