Xavier has one of the best backcourts in the East Region (Tu Holloway and Mark Lyons), and could prevent Marquette from meeting fellow Big East squad Syracuse in round two. Chris Mack's Musketeers emerged as the class of the Atlantic 10 in the regular season, only to fall to rival Dayton in the conference tournament. Marquette will have their hands full with the Musketeers but Buzz Williams' team plays as hard as any team in the country. Jimmy Butler and Darius Johnson-Odom are the leading scorers for Marquette, who need other guys to step up in order to prolong their stay. While the effort will be there, whether or not Marquette executes well enough, remains to be seen.
